The Titan platform delivers first-time-right, predictable mixed-signal designs without sacrificing performance, while shortening the design process by weeks. Titan is the industry’s first platform to truly integrate analog, digital implementation and verification. With automated mixed-signal assembly and verification, Titan provides an order-of-magnitude productivity improvement over analog flows. Additionally, it provides seamless integration to the Titan ADX analog design accelerator to speed implementation.
Titan is a unified mixed-signal design cockpit with very high capacity and a very fast database access mechanism. By fully embedding Talus, Titan combines the high-level efficiency of Magma’s digital implementation tools with full-custom analog design tools. Titan comprises user-friendly full-custom schematic and layout editors, an analog simulation environment, correct-by-design schematic-driven layout (SDL) and integration with Magma tools for simulation and physical verification.
Titan SDL updates the layout quickly, allowing designers to make frequent changes to the schematic. It also provides a full-featured device generator and support for parameterized cells, enabling designers to quickly generate a full device-level layout.
Titan layout editor (LE) combines the fastest access and edit times in the industry with the ability to view and modify the digital placed-and-routed data. Coupled with a fast shape-based analog-aware router, Titan LE gives designers a range of options from full-custom to full-automation to meet specific circuit requirements.
Titan provides an integrated chip-finishing solution for mixed-signal designs, as well. The unprecedented level of integration and automation provided by Titan enables a significant increase in productivity by eliminating the potentially time-consuming and difficult iterations between traditional custom layout and standard-cell implementation systems. To further streamline the design process, Titan supports OpenAccess and emerging industry standards.
