Quartz Time

Quartz™ Time provides sign-off verification for timing and noise and is a perfect companion to Magma’s integrated Sign-off in the Loop™ ecosystem. Quartz Time addresses the complex timing problems associated with 90-nm and finer processes through concurrent multi-mode, multi-corner and OCV analysis, ECSM support, multi-voltage and IR-drop-induced delay analysis that accurately reflect the effect on timing.

Accelerates design closure and eliminates the need for multiple tools by integrating timing, signal integrity and IR-drop-induced delay analysis and providing a powerful timing viewer.
Uses the same analysis engines as Blast Fusion® QT and Blast Noise®, eliminating the discrepancy between ASIC vendor and designer’s verification flows and the need for multiple handoffs.
Enables advanced nanometer design through use of the new, more accurate effective current source model (ECSM) and concurrent on-chip variation (OCV), crosstalk and multi-corner analysis.
Accurately predicts signal integrity problems while minimizing false errors by using advanced analysis models, intelligent filtering and timing window convergence.
Offers on-the-fly critical path SPICE file generation for easy validation of SI/IR-drop-induced waveform effects and delay correlation with SPICE.
